Wisconsin
boasts miles of bicycle trails providing pure pleasure
to ride. The German Haus Restaurant, 30 miles north of
Wisconsin dells on I-90/94, serves as the headquarters
for the Omaha Bicycle Trail that connects with the famed
Elroy-Sparta and “400” state trails at Elroy.
The Omaha offers a diverse adventure for riders of all
ages and abilities along its 13 miles of hard surface.
Situated on the abandoned Chicago & Northwestern Railroad
line, the trail is surrounded by rock outcroppings, bluffs,
and scenic valleys, all highlighted by an 875-foot long
railroad tunnel. Bring along a flashlight!
